'Inspired by', Morley Gallery, London

A ceramic piece has been selected for this prestigious national competition to find high calibre work inspired by the collection in the V & A. Selection of work was made by curators at the V & A.

All entrants in the competition were adult learners from throughout the UK.  I attend a ceramic evening class at the College of West Anglia in Kings Lynn.  Not only was my pot selected for this prestigious exhibition but at the private view, it was announced as the winner in the ceramic category.  David Hughes, Chief Executive of the National Institute of Continuing Education (NIACE) presented certificates to the prize-winners.  The exhibition is the first of a series of major events of the new National Fesival of Learning, which runs throughout May and June.

Exhibition dates: 20 May - 19 June 2014  Open:  Monday-Friday 11.00 - 18.00, Saturday 12.0 - 16.00

The Morley Gallery, 61 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7HT If you happen to be passing the gallery outside of opening hours, you can still see the Breach pot, it's sitting in one of the gallery windows!
