Colour and creativity: my favourite obsessions. Creativity in different media, colour in everything.
Recent works are in fluorescent acrylic sheet with an emphasis on interpreting the world of birds into my own bright flocks of imagination.
Drawing is all-important. With an architectural background that evolved around straight lines and neatness, I’m starting to combine the discipline of straight lines with the bright colours of acrylic sheet. Drawing from life is an essential occupation and I spend many hours sketching in the street, theatres and countryside.
My practice thrives on diversity in technique, subject and approach. There is so much to learn. Exploration and experiment will always be paramount.
